Like a broken record.... Another drop in inventory. Yesterday produced a loss of 16 units, another new low for this move down. The last time inventory was this low was 1/12/13. There are 4639 units available for sale in Manhattan. The lowest recorded number in the last 5 years is 4491 recorded in Late December 2012.Today's chart shows 3 months of data. You can see that while demand has dropped a little the last few days, the absorption rate is still eclipsing the number of new apartments coming onto the market. The lows of early January are easily within reach this month.
